1031 Exchanges - how to utilize it to its fullest advantage

Come to Chuck's Steak House, 10 Prospect Street (Route 20) Auburn, Massachusetts 01501, tonight Thursday October 2nd! Networking and registration begin at 6:30 PM.

Dinner starts promptly at 7 PM. WREI members eat for free from the meeting menu! NWCREI Members get $10 off of their meal. Drinks, hard and soft, are not included. Please be prepared to pay for drinks and tip.

Have you thought of your "exit strategy" for your properties or just focused on acquiring more? Planning for the future and dealing with the present are both critical to your real estate investing. Unfortunately, only 8% of investment property sold in New England utilizes this tax differing code - compare that to the West Coast that averages 40-70%. Often, property owners are misinformed by their "advisors" on the application of 1031s, let alone the multiple strategies that are available.

If you invest in real estate, you HAVE TO COME to this seminar to learn the many myths that are still out there, your options available through 1031s, why partnerships and multi-member LLCs create MASSIVE issues when dealing with 1031s, and much much more. This is not a sales pitch of any kind and Mark Couture from Exchange Authority will not be selling anything; rather, he will be providing much needed information to any real estate investor - beginner or advanced!

Mark Couture is from Exchange Authority, New England's 1st Authority on IRC1031. Since 1983, our partners have been acting as facilitators for 1031 exchanges and now we have 2 Certified Exchange Specialists® on staff (out of the 14 in New England). Exchange Authority has exchanged property across the country and is well known throughout the industry. They have taught thousands of tax professionals, attorneys, real estate professionals, and property owners throughout the US and continue to help strategize with and facilitate 1031 exchanges.

Mark will be talking with us in some detail about how 1031 Exchanges and how you can defer taxes and buy bigger properties, all without having money out of pocket! Additionally, he'll share some deals that they have completed recently as well as bring a selection of properties their clients are looking to sell NOW or what they are looking to buy NOW!

We are pleased to have Mark speak with us. There are only a handlful of qualified intermediaries in Massachusetts so why not talk to the ones with the most experience?and can't think of a better person to speak with us on experiences in commercial investing in our market.

Make sure to send Lee any information on wholesale deals so we can get it posted on the website (FREE for paid members!)

Following Mark's talk, look for additional info of interest to investors.

Bring the deals you are working on, what you are looking to buy, sell, etc., and let everyone know! Bring a friend and network network network!

It's $30 at the door for non-members to attend and we'll even provide dinner. Alcohol, soft drinks and tip are NOT included in the meeting price.
Please plan for this.
Pre-register and save $10! And we'll still provide your meal!

Want to pre-select your meal? Just let us know if you want steak, chicken or the soup and salad bar.

Or save even more and join for $180 per year. Members get discounts of other things including events like REO's Open and the Landlord Bootcamp.

And More......

Commercial Investing Experiences w/ Local Commercial Investor Sandy Edwards!

Sandy has a lot of experience: she's a Commercial investor, a licensed MA real estate broker, a licensed construction supervisor, has extensive experience in multifamily investing and property management, has completed 1031 exchanges, holds a Masters in Non-Profit Management, has extensive retail management experience, and the list goes on.

She'll share her experiences, potential pitfalls, and share insight into how you can get into commercial investing. Let's face it: most investors express interest in commercial investing but few act on it. There is less information and education available and the thought of doing it intimidates. It seems riskier because there is seemingly less info and education. Sandy will dispel some of these myths.
